Composed mostly of sandstone, the red color of Sedona is made from deposits of iron oxide. Oh, did I mention magic? Their shapes being sculpted by wind and water over millions of years. These unusual and popular formations include Coffee Pot, Cathedral Rock, Snoopy Rock, and Bell Rock. The most popular being Cathedral Rock located within Red Rock Crossing State Park.
